This Walkout Movie Guide | Questions | Worksheet (TV14 - 2006) challenges students to think critically about the characters and concepts in this inspirational story about equal education for all. Ask students to analyze the kinds of improvements Paula and the other student leaders fought for and how they were successful. Encourage students to think about what they might take for granted and how they would try to achieve a positive change for something they feel is unfair.
Note: As a bonus, question #8 asks students to compare real footage of the 1968 walkout with the scene from the film. **Distance Learning Tips:
Distribute the digital PDF file or the google forms version to each student
Use the screen sharing tool on your group call software to play the movie
Pause the movie at each question to give students time to write/discuss
