The eight process standards as defined by the Common Core are the foundational skills that students must use in effective problem solving. These posters take the skills and define them by asking students to think about the mathematics with open ended questions that help them make connections about the math they are doing and the context they are applying them to.

These puzzles help students use a variety of strategies when comparing and ordering fractions.
Sets with like denominators, like numerators, and a variety of denominator combinations to support the use of equivalent fractions and fraction/decimal conversion help students work flexibly to be successful with these tasks.
Great for Stations or a Class Wide "Scoot" with Partners!
These puzzles are easy to set up and self checking! To set them up just print (two sided), cut them out, and paperclip the sets together or sort into small baggies. Then students can organize them in order from least to greatest.
If they think they are in the right order they flip them over and look for the message on the back. If the message makes sense, then they have them in the right order. If not, they should flip them over and try again.
A student recording sheet and key is also included! :)

This bundle includes everything you need to help students construct an understanding of divisibility!
Lesson Plan and Activity: Students are guided to test over 45 numbers for divisibility for numbers 1-10. They then use the numbers that are divisible by each divisor to develop a rule for each (as a class). This is a FUN activity which promotes active learning with a high engagement rate.
Graphic Organizer: There are two front options and three options for the inside so you can customize how much you want your students to take notes vs. focus on creating the rules as a class. This aides in differentiation and can be a great time saver!
Posters: There are four color posters which can be hung vertically to remind students of the divisibility rules from 1-10 (7 and 8 excluded). These are great when teaching about simplifying fractions and working with division/estimation.
Game: The Tiger Escape Game which I have included allows students to practice what they have learned in a fun, easy to set up game. Students use their divisibility rules to move the tiger through the game board while checking to see which of the spaces along the path are divisible by the numbers 1-10 (7 and 8 excluded).
This is a Bundle of eleven activities that can be used as group/center/menu stations for students during workshop class time. For each Activity you can find all the materials you will need as well as a student recording sheet.
*I make a booklet with these recording sheets so students can track their work in stations throughout our multiplication and number sense unit. :)
Topics included are:
-Arrays
-Factors
-(Prime/Composite Opportunities embedded)
-Multiples
-Common Multiples
-Multi-digit Multiplication
There are games, problem solving activities, and math stories for use in classrooms from grade 3-6.
This bundle includes addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of integers. There are two types of frames and two levels of complexity in each package of this bundle. Each puzzle is self checking and requires minimal set up.
