At Breakwater Academy we believe that children should receive a holistic education, where the academic success goes hand in hand with personal and social development. To achieve this we believe that children should engage in whole learning experiences that engage and excite their imaginations, encouraging them to become lifelong learners. 

At the core of the learning are the imperatives of basic skills in reading, writing and maths which are then consistently applied across the other curriculum areas. At Breakwater Academy, we will work with passion and urgency to ignite the love of learning within every child at the Academy as well as a deep commitment to developing each learner’s confidence in all subject areas.
