Bruern Abbey is a unique family of two schools that provide specialist education and pastoral support exclusively for boys diagnosed with dyslexia, dyspraxia or other learning difficulties. Owing to the successes of Bruern Abbey Prep School, well-established as the only mainstream prep school in the country that caters exclusively for boys diagnosed with learning difficulties, Bruern Abbey Senior School launched in September 2022 on an impressive site in Chilton, Buckinghamshire, a 20-minute drive from Bruern Abbey Prep School.

Bruern Senior is committed to providing a tailored education in inspiring surroundings and maintains high expectations for all boys’ academic futures. Bespoke and expert teaching coupled with a broad appreciation of the value of an all-round education enhances boys’ self-esteem thereby creating an atmosphere conducive to success. Like Bruern Prep, Bruern Senior caters exclusively for boys diagnosed with learning difficulties, maintaining its firmly held belief that learning difficulties should not preclude academic success.
