About Burston Community Primary School
The staff and governors are determined to provide all the children in our care with a happy, friendly, secure environment in which all contributions are encouraged and valued.
It is the expectation that every child will have a positive, dynamic school experience which will inspire them, equip them for the outside world and instill in them a love of learning, that they will have all their lives.
We will promote tolerance, respect and understanding for all people we meet. All this is achieved when all staff, pupils, parents and governors understand their respective responsibilities and work together for a single aim.
Welcome
I am very proud to be the executive headteacher of Burston Primary School in Norfolk.
We are a great school with a very special history and I would encourage you to pay us a visit to find out more.
We have wonderful staff and children, really supportive parents and a real sense of who we are and what we want to achieve. We have small class sizes and adult to pupil ratios that make a big difference to how pupils learn.
Our approach is very child-focused and visitors comment on our excellent behaviour and articulate pupils. We have a strong commitment to developing in all of our pupils a sense of curiosity, resilience and respect.
We are part of Sapientia Education Trust and work with a number of colleagues to constantly improve what we do.
Please take the time to look through our website – or better still, come and see us. We have spaces in all year groups and we would love to see you.
