About Harrow International School Bangkok
Harrow International School Bangkok
Harrow Bangkok is the original Harrow International School in Asia, founded in 1998. The school is thriving, with its own reputation for educational excellence as one of the leading schools in Thailand and South East Asia; the Harrow name is synonymous with quality.
Our school blends 450 years of Harrow School’s high academic standards, traditions, and service to the community with innovative education in a vibrant Thai setting. We educate around 1,800 students on a beautiful 35-acre garden campus in north Bangkok, with world-class facilities for day students and boarders. The school is all through with students from Early Years to Year 13.
Our results of 59% A*-A at A level and 70% A*-A at IGCSE in 2023 are a testament to our outstanding provision, and every year Harrovians take up places at some of the most distinguished institutions across the world.
Facilities
The campus benefits from a range of facilities (all available to staff after hours), which alongside classrooms include floodlit tennis courts, a lake for watersports, a swimming pool, gym and extensive grass pitches.
Our holistic educational philosophy provides extensive super-curricular opportunities for enrichment through the diverse Leadership in Action programme, prioritising leadership development along with skills and personal qualities which help to translate academic potential into meaningful and fulfilling lives after students graduate.
We benefit from close links with Harrow School along with the other schools in the Harrow family. Education at Harrow Bangkok is at the cutting edge, with our commitment to the High Performance Learning philosophy and world class education.

Today’s Bangkok is a modern metropolis with shiny skyscrapers and the latest tech solutions as well as an abundance of golden temples and historic buildings. Then there is the richness of Thailand’s natural beauty with its pristine beaches, rainforest-clad mountains, and ancient historical sites to explore. We guarantee you will never run out of things to do. For those wishing to take a break, Don Mueang International airport just 10 minutes from campus offers a cheap, convenient gateway to other South East Asian destinations.

Location
My son is in Year 11 and is taking his IGCSE exams this year. We were first attracted to Harrow Bangkok as it was one of the few schools to offer the British curriculum in Bangkok at that time. But there’s much more this school has to offer. He loves sport and some of the memorable moments for us are the many competitions he has taken part in, both in Bangkok and all around South East Asia. These events always bring out the best in our students and show great teamwork amongst the staff, students and parents. Thank you Harrow Bangkok for some very special memories.
- Harrow Bangkok ParentWe joined the school 5 years ago. We had a good impression of Harrow Bangkok from an Open House event, especially the facilities. Also we noticed that the children here are very nice, and would say hello to parents and staff - they obviously feel happy being in the school. Most importantly, I knew my children would fit in at Harrow Bangkok. They have lovely friends here, and they love going to school every day. We like the fact that children are encouraged to try lots of new things. My daughter chooses lots of different after-school activities – she does an activity every day of the week… gymnastics, basketball, swimming, art. It’s great that we don’t need to go outside the school community for any extra activities. My son really enjoys music and sport, which is fantastic as before he joined Harrow Bangkok he was more focused on academic studies. He played in his band at the Benefit Bash which was a highlight for us, and he loves basketball.
