About International School Basel - Reinach Campus
Thank you for your interest in International School Basel (ISB). ISB welcomes the opportunity to enrich the school community by recruiting vibrant and well-qualified teachers and support staff.
The ISB, founded in 1979, is an IB World School. Over 1400 students, ranging from 3-19 years, and from more than 50 nationalities, attend this not-for-profit, English language, co-educational day school. All three IB programmes are delivered to students by motivated and well-qualified staff in impressively-resourced, modern school buildings.
ISB promotes high-quality education in an atmosphere of international understanding and positive cultural awareness. Through a wide range of learning experiences within school, the local community and the world at large, students are encouraged to respect and appreciate people of all nationalities, religions and cultural backgrounds and to explore, develop and encourage their own and others’ skills and interests.
ISB is fully accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and is recognised and authorised by Switzerland to operate as an alternative to local schools. Year after year, ISB students achieve impressive IB Diploma results and are accepted at top universities worldwide.
