About Loreto Grammar School
Loreto Grammar School is a selective Roman Catholic girls' secondary with sixth form, situated in Altrincham, Cheshire. It is supported by a single-academy trust, the Loreto Grammar School Trust, and is part of a network of 120 Loreto schools across the world, with strong links to international schools in countries such as India, Australia and Germany. It provides a total of 1,040 places for students aged 11-18.
The school was founded in 1909 by the Sisters of Loreto, and assumed academy status in August 2012.

As a Catholic school, Loreto Grammar has a faith-based ethos. The school values freedom, sincerity, excellence, truth, joy, justice and internationality, and places a strong focus on spirituality.
There is high achievement in religious education, where staff set high standards, and a well-rounded general education is provided for students up to sixth-form level.
