Richard Wakefield C.E Primary is a part of The de Ferrers Trust. We are a Multi Academy Trust currently based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We consist of 3 Secondary Academies and 4 Primary Academies.
At each academy we will strive to inspire through the delivery of a 'World Class' education ensuring that every student achieves their potential. We aspire to be a beacon of excellence within the community we serve where everyone feels valued, included and proud.
Our visition is to ensure that all the children and young people in our care have the opportunity to fulfil their potential through achieving highly, regardless of their abiliy or background.

Here, at Richard Wakefield C.E. Primary Academy, everyone works with pride to achieve their personal best. There are 269 pupils aged from 3 to 11 years. Many of the children live in the lovely village of Tutbury, which is about five miles from Burton-upon-Trent. The school is fortunate to have the spectacular setting of Tutbury Castle in the background.
