Robert Clack School of Science

Robert Clack School is immensely proud of its excellent reputation in providing the highest quality education to its pupils.  We are committed to delivering a broad and balanced education, one which appreciates the importance of academic qualifications, but one which also recognises the value of vocational qualifications and the extra-curricular of sport, drama, music, the arts and debate.  Despite the considerable achievements to date, Robert Clack School is committed to continually seek ways to improve and develop its facilities and challenge our pupils.  We are determined to deliver the very best education for our pupils, one which will equip them with the knowledge, skills and attributes necessary to fulfil their potential and make a valuable contribution to society.

Robert Clack School is located in the Borough of Barking and Dagenham and is named after Alderman Robert Clack, who served as Mayor of the Borough of Dagenham, as it was then known, between 1940 – 1942.  He was a champion for social justice and equal opportunity.  He worked tirelessly to advance the cause of the people of Dagenham and had great faith in them.  At Robert Clack School, we have faith in our pupils and believe that they have the potential to be as successful as pupils anywhere in the country.  The values by which Alderman Clack lived his life are the values that permeate the daily ethos of the school, the values of mutual respect, compassion, discipline, high expectations and aspirations, and hard work.

In September 2021, our Primary School opened and we became an all-through school. We are continuing to expand each academic year until our Primary School is full from Reception to Year 6.
