The British School of Geneva (BSG)

The British School of Geneva (BSG) is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, independent all-through school in Switzerland, serving students from the age of 4-18. The Geneva based school welcomes pupils from over 50 nationalities.

The British School of Geneva was founded in 2005, originally as a sixth form college. It has continued to expand to an all-through school throughout the years and in September 2017, it will welcome its first reception students. The school follows the English National Curriculum and is the only school in the district to offer British A-Levels. Classes are kept to a maximum of 18 students to ensure student benefit from a personalised learning experience.

The British School of Geneva is proud of its international community and wants all pupils to benefit from an enriching learning experience where they can strengthen their knowledge, skills and future opportunities through an Anglophone education. The all-through school wants all pupils to reach their full potential and achieve to the highest of their ability, offering personalised teaching in small classrooms, where dedicated teachers work to help nurture students unique skills and talents. It is important to the school that parents play a core role in their children’s education and are encouraged to keep in regular contact with teachers to ensure everyone is working on the same level for the benefit of the students. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered to students to allow for them to gain new experiences outside of the classroom, such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award, where they practice their role as active citizens through community service in the local area.
