About the Role
We are seeking a native English-speaking elementary teacher to work with Grades 1-3 in multi-level classrooms, embracing a differentiated, engaging, and hands-on teaching approach. The successful candidate will support students in developing English literacy, inquiry skills, and cross-disciplinary knowledge while fostering autonomy and curiosity.
🔹 Morning: Teach English literacy and core subjects using interactive, inquiry-based, and student-centered strategies in a multi-age classroom setting .
🔹 Afternoon: Facilitate Project-Based Learning (PBL) sessions with a mixed group of English-speaking and French-speaking students, encouraging problem-solving, teamwork, and real-world application of knowledge.
🔹 Mentoring: Provide personalized support and guidance, helping students develop independence, confidence, and a growth mindset.
🔹 ESL Support: Lead a weekly ESL session for French-speaking learners to strengthen their English language skills.
Who We Are Looking For
✅ A native English speaker with a recognized elementary teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, teaching license, etc.).
✅ A passion for student-centered, hands-on, and interdisciplinary learning in a multi-age classroom environment.
✅ Experience or interest in Project-Based Learning (PBL) and active teaching methodologies.
✅ The ability to engage multilingual learners and adapt to various needs, including students with special educational needs.
✅ A collaborative mindset, eager to work in an international, bilingual, and innovative setting.
