Contract: Child Specific Contract (fixed term contract)

Scale: 3 points 5-6 £16,976-£17,060/ Scale: 4 points 7-10 £17,320-£18,118 (actual salary) depending on experience

Hours: 24hours x 40 weeks per annum (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays mornings only 9am-1.30pm Wednesdays 9am-3.30pm)

We are seeking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work under the direction of the class teacher and SENDCO to support the learning of a pupil with social, emotional and mental health needs. Support plans are in place to guide learning and behaviour within a whole class setting as well as when working 1:1. Experience in working with children with special educational needs is essential.
