Your opportunity

Salfords Primary School is looking to appoint an Administration Assistant for our SENCo. You will play a key role in providing support for all paperwork relating to our SEND children across both Key Stage 1 & 2, working closly with our SENCo and parents. In addition to this there maybe opportunites to work with these children assisting in the Teaching Assistant role. As an academy within GLF Schools, we benefit from sharing outstanding resources, and support in every aspect of school life from learning and teaching to staffing and educational expertise.

If successful in this role, you will support the SENCo with SEND administration, including organinsing dates and meetings and ensuring paperwork is completed to meet the nessacary deadlines, working efficiently and prioritising as needed. There may also be times where you would be required to assist and support the Class Teachers in the teaching and well-being of the children, ensuring they fulfil their potential in accordance with the targets that are set. You will also support the wider school, led by the Headteacher, promoting the well-being of staff and children in the school.

About Salfords Primary School

Our School sits within a newly established cluster of schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Salfords, our cluster includes the following other schools; Southgate Primary School, Forge Wood Primary School, Kilnwood Vale Primary School, Greenway Junior School, Lime Tree Primary School, Merstham Primary School .

The Details

Part Time Mon - Fri 08:15 - 12:15 39 weeks per year (Term time) 

Salary: FTE: £22,834 - £24,872 (Pro Rata 17.5 hours per week £9,549 - £10,401)
