Job overview

We are excited to offer the opportunity for a dedicated and organised individual to join our administrative team as an Admissions and Funding Administrator at Treloar School and College. This role centres around providing support with all administrative duties in relation to the admissions and funding process.

You will work closely with the Head of Admissions, Funding and Contracts, Admissions Coordinator and Students Pricing and Funding Coordinator, providing clear and effective communication to all internal and external stakeholders.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • To answer telephone calls and respond to email enquiries; as appropriate and in conjunction with Admissions Coordinator and Funding lead
  • To take initial enquiry information from prospective families, record all information and log on appropriate database
  • Add application forms and associated documents to relevant databases
  • Oversee prospective student and family tours of the campus
  • Support in the sending of fees or funding correspondence to LAs; as requested from the Student Pricing and Funding Coordinator
  • Arrange catering, room booking and notify reception of all upcoming assessments
  • Support with meeting and greeting prospective students and families on assessment days


About you:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Have experience in taking minutes
  • Be experienced in dealing with local authority and other professionals
  • You must have a relevant level 3 administrative or IT qualification (or equivalent)
  • A good general education, including English and maths at Level 2 (or equivalent)
  • excellent IT literacy, including Microsoft word and excel.
