After School Club Assistant

Salary range: between 22366 and 22366

Pay details: HB2: £22,366 FTE; actual salary £5,055

Start date: TBC

We are looking for an enthusiastic After School Club Assistant for our popular and established Cuffley Club, which provides part of our wraparound care service for parents. The role will be for 5 days a week, term time only, from 3.15pm until 5.15pm (the club runs until 6:00pm and longer hours will be considered for the right candidate). The role involves care and supervision of our children while they play, or do their homework, supporting a fun, safe and friendly environment. Duties include:

• help set up the room
• supervise children
• prepare simple food such as sandwiches and toast
• tidy at the end of the session

You need to be flexible, reliable and enthusiastic, as well as being able to work as part of a team. We have a dedicated room for our Breakfast and After School Clubs in the centre of our school for the children to use. We have an experienced team who will be able to offer training and support. We need someone who has, or is willing to undertake training for, the Level 2 food hygiene qualification. If you think this is the role for you we would love to hear from you. Cuffley School is a foundation,two-form primary and nursery school with approximately 450 pupils on roll. We have a warm and friendly ethos, where learning to learn is at the heart of what we do.
