The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced part time Art Teacher with specialisms in Art, DT, and Food Technology to join our fantastic team. This is a self-employed contract role, needed 1.5 days per week, term time only.

About the role

St. Margaret’s Prep is seeking a teacher 1.5 days a week with specialisms in Art, DT, and Food Technology to join our experienced and dedicated team. The successful candidate will have the talent, enthusiasm, energy and love of learning required to get the best from motivated and delightful children who are taught in small classes. They will also demonstrate the flexibility and commitment that is the hallmark of St. Margaret’s staff. The successful candidate will deliver excellent teaching including Art, DT and Food Technology to our pupils throughout the school.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a proven outstanding Teacher of Art, DT and Food Technology:

•Qualified Teacher Status or appropriate level of experience and certification.

•Experience in teaching Art, DT, Food Technology at Primary and/or Secondary level.

•The ability to teach a wide range of artistic genres, including ceramics, batik printing, 3D modelling and Digital Art.

•Well organised, highly creative and innovative.
