This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our small and friendly Finance team at a prestigious boarding school based in the centre of Cheltenham.
The Assistant Accountant will support our busy finance team with the smooth operation of the transactional aspects of the finance department, with specific focus on ensuring efficient processing of all aspects of our trading subsidiary, and essential support on College Fees.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will hold a key role within our small finance team. You will have a flexible, enquiring approach and be keen to get involved in the day-to-day transactions with great attention to detail and extremely organised. You will be AAT fully qualified or part qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA and have demonstratable experience from a similar role. You will have proven experience of working well with deadlines, comfortably juggling multiple tasks and prioritising your own workload.
