Bridge House School are recruiting for an Assistant Head Teacher to join our Primary school team. 

We are looking for an outstanding relationship builder, with a passion for providing children and young people with special needs with the best possible education. You will have knowledge of formulating the aims and objectives of the school, whilst establishing policies for achieving these aims and objectives. You will be energetic and have a strong sense of moral purpose, and the ability to inspire the team to achieve the highest standards to ensure best outcomes for pupils.

The successful candidate will work closely with the senior management team and will lead on areas of teaching learning and assessment.


The Assistant Head will:

  • Track the attendance and progress of learners.
  • work with the SLT to develop and integrate a shared vision and strategic plan for the school.
  • Have a creative and dynamic approach and be able to provide leadership and support to colleagues at all levels.
  • Have a sound understanding of regulatory requirements and must be passionate about achieving the best outcomes for the young people at our School.
  • Have experience in supporting our young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD and associated complex needs and supporting young people within SEN schools.


You will benefit from a bespoke induction programme and the support and guidance of your senior colleagues across Aspris Children's Services. Applicants must have a formal teaching qualification.
