Job overview

Due to promotion and expansion of the leadership team, we are looking for a talented leader who will provide additional capacity to the Leadership Team at Grace Academy.

The role of the Assistant Principal is key in the future development and success of the school and we want an Assistant Principal who is willing to make their mark.

This involves the leadership and support of staff as well as the management, organisation and administration of a significant area of the Academy Development Plan. This will be dependent upon the candidate’s skills and talents. The Assistant Principal has a duty to promote high quality in all aspects of the work of the team by maintaining high standards of achievement and ensuring that all students fulfil their potential through effective teaching and learning and high expectations.

The Academy is committed to safeguarding children. The successful applicant will require an enhanced DBS check and will be required to disclose any previous spent convictions or cautions.

In line with the recommendation in KCSIE 2022, Tove Learning Trust adopts the policy of requiring all new staff who join to have a DBS check and immediately become a member of the update service. This requirement is a contractual obligation and further information will be provided to successful applicants.
