Elizabeth Woodville School is an aspirational and inclusive 11-18 comprehensive school with approximately 1100 students. Our school is located on two sites: Roade in Northamptonshire and Deanshanger on the outskirts of Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire. We are one school with both sites operating independently with a Head of School on each site, under the leadership of the Director of Secondary Education.  

We are seeking to appoint an Attendance Officer to promote excellent attendance and a positive punctuality culture. You will support students in achieving their full academic potential whilst forming strong relationships with parents/carers.

The successful candidate will work alongside key school staff in school to reduce levels of absence and work with children and families to promote high level of attendance and to support strategies in place to reduce persistent absence and to support on all statutory functions in relation to prosecutions for non-attendance at school;

The successful candidate will:

  •  Have experience of working in a school;
  • Work well under pressure
  • Have excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
  • Meet the person specification and will be required to apply for a DBS disclosure and register for the annual updates service
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK


Training and development opportunities will be offered. All staff are encouraged to study further, and the trust will actively support staff to obtain relevant further qualifications where possible.

Elizabeth Woodville School is an inclusive comprehensive school with approximately 1100 students. Elizabeth Woodville is part of Tove Learning Trust which is a rapidly growing trust whose vision is to ensure that all pupils in the trust academies are provided with outstanding educational experiences that lead to outstanding outcomes. This includes all aspects of school life with pupils achieving to the very best of their ability.

Our school is located on two sites, Roade (North campus) and Deanshanger (South campus). We operate as one school with staff working across both sites, however the successful candidate will be based at one site only.
