Your Role as a Maths Teacher
As a Maths Teacher at Newton Lagoon, you’ll inspire a new generation of problem-solvers and critical thinkers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Preparing students for success in IGCSE and A-Level examinations.
- Creating engaging lessons that make complex concepts accessible and exciting.
- Supporting students in achieving their academic and personal best.
- Collaborating with a passionate team to enhance the Maths curriculum.
- Encouraging a growth mindset and fostering confidence in every student.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for enthusiastic educators who:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Possess a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Have experience teaching Maths at Key Stages 3 to 5, including IGCSE and A-Level preparation.
- Are familiar with the British National Curriculum.
- Combine strong classroom management with the ability to inspire and engage students.
- Value collaboration, creativity, and continuous professional development.
- Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
