Business Teacher (2025/26 Academic Year)

The International School of Bucharest is seeking an experienced and qualified Business Teacher to join our thriving academic community for the 2025/26 academic year. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching in Key Stage 4 and 5, helping students achieve their full academic potential.
• Teach Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme Business courses (experience in these curricula is highly desirable).
• Participate in the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and Humanities Department initiatives.
• Create a positive, student-centred learning environment.

A candidate is expected to:

• Hold a recognized teaching qualification, either local or international.
• Have a solid understanding of effective teaching practices and current educational standards.
• Demonstrate strong ethical values and maintain a high level of classroom discipline.
• Possess excellent organizational skills to efficiently manage lesson planning and classroom activities.
• Communicate effectively, with strong written and verbal skills to interact with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Be a team player, working collaboratively and positively with colleagues and contributing to the school’s overall goals.
• Uphold a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information related to students, staff, and the school.
• Be enthusiastic, proactive, and dedicated to supporting student growth and achievement.
