Job overview

We are looking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Manager to join the team based at Lyngford Park/Nerrols Primary school to manage the operation of the kitchen and provide a high-quality service to students and staff.

This role would include

·        The operational management of the school kitchen and catering staff

·        Preparing, cooking and serving food and beverages

·        Ensuring a high-quality service is provided for pupils and staff

·        Ensuring the completion of logs for allergens, temperature, food prep, food transportation, cleaning and wastage

·        Ensuring a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is always adhered to

·        Ensuring health and safety regulations and the company food hygiene procedures are always adhered to.

Experience of managing a food service environment to a high standard in a commercial or similar environment, excellent customer service skills and an ability to work flexibly are all essential for this role.

·        Hours of work:  07:30 to 15:00 Mon, Weds & Fri, 0800 to 15:30 Tues & Thurs 35 hours per week, term time only 39 weeks per year

·        Hourly Rate: £13.00

·        Actual Salary: £20,293pa (FTE salary £ 25,447pa)

·        Start date: September 2024
