Job summary

An exciting new role in a growing and successful Trust. You will be joining an innovative and proactive team, with a shared mission to deliver the best possible outcomes for our children and young people.

We are a Specialist SEND and Alternative Provision Trust, delivering high quality and holistic education for children and young people with a range of complex co-existing special educational needs, and for children and young people who need short term provision as they are temporarily unable to attend mainstream school for a variety of reasons.

Our proven track record for educational outcomes, combined with our healthy financial position and robust financial controls, provide strong foundations for our planned growth. The Chief Finance Officer will contribute towards the strategic direction of the Trust, and will have the opportunity to shape the role, systems and frameworks needed for our vision of 'achieving more together'. The role includes:

  • Financial compliance, management and control
  • Strategic leadership
  • Audit oversight
  • Academy growth
  • Procurement
  • Team management

We are proud of our people and our culture. Collaboration, support, well-being and professional development are just some of the factors which contribute to our strong teams. The successful candidate will share our vision and values, and will demonstrate positivity, ambition, strategic-thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be able to evidence significant experience in a senior financial leadership role.
