The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced  Classroom Teacher KS2 to join our fantastic team. This is a Fixed Term Contract until July 2025.

About the role

To ensure effective teaching of all pupils and contribute to raising standards of student achievement in all subjects. Helping them to develop both inside and outside the classroom. Support the policies and aims of the school and ensure the good social, emotional and physical development of every child. You will be expected to prepare, teach, mark work and maintain records of attendance, progress, behaviour and achievement in accordance with agreed school policies, using the information to raise standards of learning, with target grades set and reviewed regularly with students.

Who we are looking for: 

To be considered for this role you will have a teaching degree with Qualified Teacher Status and experience of working in an educational environment. We would also expect you to have a clear understanding of the National Curriculum and its application and have a clear understanding of the legal requirements and the importance of Safeguarding, Health & Safety, equal opportunities and Data Protection.

The Nursery (12 months-3 years), Junior School (ages 3-11) and the Senior School (ages 11-18) are all housed in picturesque buildings set in their own grounds with specialist facilities. This unique situation allows pupils to benefit from the continuity of teaching and learning, as well as providing them with the opportunity to grow and develop on different sites which are best suited to their age group. It is our main aim that pupils should continually develop their individual talents and personal qualities. In academic terms, we aim to help every individual to fulfil his or her potential.
