Your opportunity

We are looking to appoint a highly skilled and flexible part-time Administrator to work across some of our schools in the Epsom and Banstead area, managing their nursery administration and admissions.

Working in collaboration with the school based teams, we require the individual to deliver an efficient and effective administration service to our nursery teams and their school community.

The responsibilities include:

  • Administration duties across a range of activities including data management, funding claims and reporting
  • Allocation of nursery places, including the invoicing of Nursery fees for children that are not eligible for funding
  • Maintaining the nursery database
  • Acting as a first point of contact for nursery administration queries, ensuring high levels of confidentiality

The successful candidate will work 20 hours per week (over 3 or 4 days). In due course, we may be looking for this role to increase to 32 hours (this can be worked over 4 or 5 days). As a flexible employer, we are happy to discuss flexible working patterns at the interview.

Our ideal applicant will have:

  • A good level of administration ability to include Excel, Word and Google Docs and excellent attention to detail to ensure compliance with regulation and Trust and Local Authority procedures are followed
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate on all levels and build good working relationships with stakeholders
  • Flexible approach and the ability to work on their own initiative

Pro-rata salary for the initial 20 hours: £11,265.68 - £13,005.88

Start Date: September 2024

Closing Date: Monday 15th July (12pm)

Hours: Starting 3/4 days for 20 hours and possible increasing to 4/5 days for 32 hours, 40 weeks a year (term time plus 1)
