The College is seeking to appoint a well qualified, experienced and committed individual to the maternity cover post of College Counsellor, to work on term time plus 5 days basis. You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to providing the highest quality support for each student, have a track record of outstanding success and be committed to equality and diversity.

STUDENT SUPPORT AT NOTRE DAME

Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College is one of the top sixth form colleges in the country and we are extremely proud of all our students’ achievements, especially the individual progression that they each make in their time with us. We provide outstanding support including learning support, mental health first aiders and a college counsellor.

The aim of student support is to enable them to each student to flourish, develop independence and the skills needed to thrive at Notre Dame and when they leave. The department works with external agencies, as required, to meet the needs of students.

Appointment will be made on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Association Salary spine for Support staff, SP 11-17 £26,097 - £31,219 pa, full time equivalent. Actual salary based on TTO plus 5 days is SP11 - £22,418 to SP17 £26,818 pa.
