We are currently looking to appoint a Compliance Officer at Saint Felix School. This is a newly created post and the aim is to ensure the School is compliant with relevant legislation at all times and is operating using best practice. 

This is a 30 hour per week role.

Saint Felix School, Southwold has been providing educational excellence for almost 125 years to children from Suffolk, Norfolk and further afield. Set in 75 glorious acres on the Suffolk coast, just minutes from the sea, this co-educational independent school caters for boarders and day pupils from the ages of 2 to 18 including international students from around the world.

The Compliance Officer is responsible to the Headmaster. Saint Felix is part of the Inspired Learning Group (ILG), this role will also include providing compliance and HR expertise in a range of areas at the school and in liaison with Head Office. 

As Compliance Officer at Saint Felix School you will work closely with the Headmaster to ensure that;

  • All legal and compliance aspects of the School are appropriately structured and discharged including policies, procedures and practices being regularly updated to maintain compliance
  • Staff are fully aware of compliance requirements
  • At all times confidentiality, discretion and empathy are adhered to
  • All inspection documentation, including policies are up to date and ready for inspections as they arise.


This varied role will include aspects of compliance, Health and Safety, Project work, Site maintenance and HR.

Saint Felix, Southwold has been providing educational excellence for 120 years. A co-educational independent school for boarders and day pupils from the ages of 2 to 18.

Boarding at Saint Felix caters for full, weekly and flexi-boarders between the ages of 9-18 in three boarding houses situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Suffolk coast.
