Holy Mary British Catholic School started as a Nursery School in Madrid through the vision of its founders, Marta and María Riva de Aldama. It was opened to cater for parents who wished their children to have a British style education based on Catholic values. It expanded due to great demand from parents and continued to grow and provide education as a Primary School. Further pressure from parents resulted in the opening of the Secondary School in 2013. Currently, we are the only British Catholic School towards the centre of Madrid with 700 students enrolled. We are committed members of NABSS, CISC and ACADE.
Holy Mary British Catholic School will continue its controlled expansion within the secondary section over the next 2 years. We look towards the future with a determined drive to achieve continual improvement, and to offer a creative and inclusive curriculum – all with a fantastic set of teachers and pupils, and a community of highly supportive parents. We are protective of our warm and family-oriented working environment, and we are looking to recruit inspirational class teachers to help maintain that ambience and to join our team of hard-working, talented, and enthusiastic professionals.
