About King Henry VIII School

We are a leading co-educational day school, providing a diverse range of opportunities for young people, from 11 to 18. We serve as the direct feeder school to King Henry VIII Junior School (HMC 3-11).

The school is located on the south side of Coventry, minutes from the railway station and with excellent access to motorways and bus routes.

Our intention is to provide our pupils with a superb education. We are proud of our rich heritage and tradition of academic excellence, which stretch back to 1545, but we are also forward-thinking and quick to adapt in a fast-changing world. We aim to discover each pupil’s potential and to ensure that we help our boys and girls to develop fully in an exciting, challenging and supportive environment.

Entrance to the school is by examination. Entry at Sixth Form level is offered on the basis of GCSE results and interview.

The school offers a wide variety of academic and co curricular activities. Examination results are excellent; most students go on to University, with a significant number gaining places at Oxford and Cambridge.

Extensive computer facilities with a wide range of applications are increasingly used across all areas of the curriculum. plus a fantastic swimming pool complex.
