Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time, 37hours per week, all year round (flexible working options available)

Salary: ATC Grade H - Scale point 29- 33 (FTE £38,626- £42,708 )

Job Purpose:

Achievement through Collaboration is a Trust with a purpose! We want our children, our staff and our schools to Achieve, Belong and Collaborate. To achieve our purpose, we know there are things we need to get right!

Through a clear definition and articulation of the values and beliefs of Achievement through Collaboration, we’ve built an organisation with children at the heart of everything we do.

Our Trust Board owns the strategic plan, holding the executive team to account to deliver it whilst delegating the correct things to the Local Governing Bodies (LGB). LGBs are supported to build their role around the children, parents and staff of their individual school whilst expressing the “we” of the Trust.

A strong central team connects the academies enabling leaders and teachers to concentrate on educational delivery. We now wish to add to the Central team through the appointment of a Data Manager.

The Trust-wide Data Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Trust's commitment to data-driven school improvement. In the first instance, the Data Manager will be based at Witton Park Academy, Blackburn, to support the development of systems for monitoring and evaluating pupil progress. The post holder will also support the Trust's commitment to the continuous improvement of its schools through the production, analysis, and evaluation of key metrics and be able to present information in a wide range of reports to a range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Systems Development and Management Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust data capture systems across the Trust, ensuring data is live, accurate, accessible, and well-presented for various stakeholders

  • Data Analysis and Reporting Produce statistical analyses of local, regional, and national data, including statutory benchmarks and outcomes data, to inform improvement plans.

  • Training and Support Provide support, guidance, and training to school Data Managers, ensuring consistent and effective use of data systems across the Trust.

  • Alignment with Trust and School Values embody the core AtC Trust values, driving a culture of continuous improvement, fostering a sense of community, and working in partnership with all stakeholders.

Staff give wholehearted support to pupils to enable their transition to the next stage of their lives. Pupils are taught to respect people from other backgrounds and to treat people fairly. They are actively encouraged to make a positive contribution to society. As a result, they are exceptionally well prepared for life in modern Britain.
