Job overview
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Art, Design Technology and Vocational Department as the Deputy, a position that promises both leadership development and the chance to significantly contribute to the department's growth.
The faculty has a proven track record of academic excellence across all subjects, and we are looking for a dedicated professional who will play a pivotal role in furthering our students' achievements and continuing to develop our exceptional facilities. This role offers a unique opportunity for personal and professional advancement.
The successful candidate should possess a strong background in teaching Food & Nutrition, particularly up to Key Stage 5, demonstrating effective pedagogical strategies and a deep understanding of the curriculum to engage and inspire students in the subject.
There have been substantial investments to modernise facilities, including a fully equipped food classroom and Art gallery. With a strong emphasis on academic excellence and a range of extracurricular activities, including catering events and diverse clubs, the role provides valuable experience in fostering student achievement and advancing exceptional educational opportunities in a collaborative environment.
Campion stands out as one of the few schools in Northamptonshire to offer a comprehensive range of Design and Technology subjects, including Food & Nutrition, Engineering, and DT, in addition to Art at both key stages. This diverse curriculum not only attracts a high level of interest and enrolment but also promises to expand with plans to include Key Stage 5 for Food & Nutrition in the near future, thereby enriching the educational opportunities available to our students.
