The Deputy Head

The Deputy Head is a pivotal position within our school, reporting directly to the Headteacher. The role provides support to the Headteacher in managing pupils, staff, parents, and governors.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled professional with a clear vision, who is both caring and enthusiastic. They will have the ability to inspire teachers and pupils to fulfil their full potential.

The Deputy Head will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and will deputise for the Headteacher as and when necessary. In this role, the Deputy Head will maintain a high profile within the school and the wider community. They will foster the development of key strategies and cultivate strong relationships to promote excellence across the entire educational experience provided by the school. The Deputy Head will also work collaboratively with the Headteacher and staff to ensure the continued success and reputation of the school.

St. John’s is a co-educational, day school. Age range 11-19 and situated in 26 acres of green belt grounds. Maximum 19 pupils per class.
