The States of Guernsey are looking for a Deputy Head Teacher to join the team at Le Murier School. This position would be available from post May half term but we appreciate that a September start may be more realistic. 


The Deputy Headteacher is expected to set the highest professional expectations and work with the Headteacher on the following areas:


To ensure that the School’s vision is clearly communicated, understood and translated into real and effective action by all.


To be accountable for translating the vision into agreed objectives, producing and implementing action plans which sustain improvement.


To enhance the experience of students through partnerships with parents/carers, students, staff, the local community, other schools, voluntary organisations, other public services and employers.
