We are an outstanding inclusive school in south London seeking a Deputy Year Lead for a September start. We are values led putting students at the heart of everything we do. Our School:


  • The school is a genuinely inclusive mixed 11–18 comprehensive school adjacent to North Dulwich station and serving a diverse local inner-city community
  • We were judged ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted in 2022 again, and have been awarded “World Class School” status again in 2019
  • Our exam results in 2022 were excellent with 60% of students achieving an A*-A at A-Level and 79% of students achieving a good pass in English and Maths at GCSE
  • The education students receive enables life-changing educational chances for everyone serving the whole community.
  • In the 2022 Staff Survey 88% of staff said they are proud to work at our school and 90% agreed that the school is well led and managed
  • We receive 1,200 Year 7 applications, every year, for 192 places


We are looking for an outstanding colleague who will: 


  • Support the Year Leader in developing a clear year group ethos that aligns with the values of the school, supporting excellent, attendance, behaviour, progress and safeguarding.
  • Liaise with external agencies such as Education Welfare & Attendance services (EWAS) as appropriate
  •  Develop positive and effective relationships with parents and carers
  • Commit to the highest standards of child protection

The Charter School North Dulwich is a fully inclusive mixed 11 - 18 community school, serving an inner city catchment area and achieves significantly above national norms. The school converted to academy status in September 2010.
