Grade: GLWC Scale 4 Point 7 – 10 £29,346 - £30,630 per annum
Pro rata salary: £25,169 - £26,271 per annum
We are looking to appoint a Design & Technology Technician to join our successful and friendly DT Faculty. The position will involve preparing resources, maintaining equipment and providing practical support for the members of staff in the department.
Previous experience as a DT technician would be an advantage. The most important qualities required are a friendly disposition, strong organisational and communication skills, together with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
A full and comprehensive induction programme is followed for all new staff.
Emerson Park is a successful and oversubscribed 11-16 Secondary school in the London Borough of Havering. We are set in pleasant surroundings on the edge of the green belt with close proximity to both countryside and central London. Emerson Park Academy is a mixed comprehensive school for pupils aged 11-16 years.
Since September 1999, 192 pupils have been admitted annually, in response to parental demand. The Academy can trace its roots back to 1943 when it began life as the only Grammar School in the country to be establised during World War Two. It move to its present site in 1954 and became a comprehensive school in 1973.
