Job overview
We are looking to appoint an engaging and passionate EAL Teacher to join the core teaching team in our Primary division (age 3-11) to work with small groups or individuals, supporting the students to improve their level of English literacy and fluency and allow them to comfortably access the academic curriculum.
Relevant experience of teaching EAL in a primary school setting, along with an appropriate degree and relevant specialist qualifications, are essential.
This position is built around the changing needs of our students and as such, the timetable may fluctuate.
In this role, you will:
- In collaboration with our teachers, design and deliver a balanced and differentiated EAL programme in alignment with our Primary curriculum
- Track and guide the academic and personal development of students
- Create an engaging learning environment and deliver outstanding support to secure excellent outcomes for all students.
- Uphold high professional standards.
