Job overview
About the role:
Moulsham High School is a high performing comprehensive school where G.C.S.E and A level results are consistently well above national averages. Behaviour is exemplary. The workload and wellbeing of staff are a major factor in all decision making.
We are looking for a well-qualified, passionate physicist to join our highly successful science faculty. Triple science is a popular option at G.C.S.E. and there is a strong uptake for physics at A level.
Science is large and forward-looking faculty; staff are very supportive of each other, with good practice and resources being shared regularly.
The school provides superb facilities for teaching science. There are seven laboratories in the main school building and a purpose-built science block constructed in 2019 which contains four laboratories and a general classroom.
The successful candidate will receive expert mentoring during their ECT years and have the opportunity to teach physics up to and including A level.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and is not suitable for anyone who has been barred in any way from working with children.
