Holmfirth High School is a co-educational, non-denominational secondary school in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. At its most recent inspection, there were 1,318 students aged 11-16 on the school roll. It is a specialist school in maths, computing and Applied Learning. 

The town of Holmfirth has a population of approximately 5,000 and is located six miles south of Huddersfield. Holmfirth High School is situated next to Hey Days Nursery and Holmfirth Sports Centre.

Holmfirth High School believes that, fundamentally, all schools are places of learning. It wants pupils to leave having achieved to the very best of their ability. However, the school believes personal development is as important as academic achievement. Teachers want pupils to grow into well-rounded, decent young people who are eager to build upon the vast range of experiences offered to them, in and out of the classroom.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The secondary school holds the Kirklees local authority Inclusion Mark, which recognises schools for showing that pupils of all abilities and backgrounds are nurtured and supported as they grow and develop. This is supported by the strong ethos of Holmfirth High School as an Extended School.
