For February 2025, we are looking for a dynamic English teacher committed to the holistic growth of students. The appointee for this post will teach a mix of the IBDP English course and some MYP English in other year groups.
Interested candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
Post Profile
● Hold a teaching degree in English or related subject.
● Have experience in teaching the IB Middle Years and/or the Diploma Programme.
● Demonstrate expert classroom practice that promotes inquiry-based learning.
● Command a wide range of digital tools for teaching, communicating and data
collecting.
● Possess excellent communication skills, spoken and written.
● Possess excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
● Demonstrate a growth mind-set and positive drive.
Desirable:
● Expertise in teaching English to second language learners (ESL/EAL education).
● Experience in the IB Middle Years and/or the Diploma Programme
Contract
● An initial two-year contract with flights to and from country of origin for
appointee and close family.
● A salary paid in U.S. Dollars, which is highly competitive for Latin America.
● Baggage, settling-in and Spanish tuition allowances.
