Evolution Sports is an award-winning multi-sports academy within Doha College that offers coaching in a wide range of sports and fitness, including soccer, swimming, basketball, netball, and strength and conditioning and develops children from 18 months through to adults. Evolution Sports began in 2007 and has evolved as Qatar’s largest multi-sports coaching provider, playing an integral part in the development of a new era of sport and health culture in Qatar. 

Evolution Sports is situated at Doha College Al Wajba, featuring World Class sports facilities, including a full-size 11-aside football field, numerous sports halls, outdoor training courts, two indoor swimming pools, and fitness studios.

The opportunity

We are now looking to appoint a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join Evolution Sports as a Swimming Coach/Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching sessions within the Swimming programme, which falls in line with the Evolution Sports coaching philosophy, vision, and values of the club.  

As the Academy Swim Coach, you will spearhead the coaching and development of elite swimmers, focusing on achieving competitive excellence and maintaining a high-performance environment. Your responsibilities include designing advanced training programs, conducting performance analyses, and preparing athletes for national and international competitions. Collaborate with sports scientists and other specialists to ensure comprehensive athlete support and program success.

The appointment will be on a full time (40 hours per week), and fixed-term, one year rolling contract.

About you

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience coaching at an elite level within a swimming academy or club, with a track record of developing swimmers to achieve national and international success. You should also have advanced knowledge of competitive swimming techniques and training methodologies, including a recognized high-level swim coaching qualification (e.g., Swim England Level 3).

We expect you to be a highly motivated and successful practitioner, who is willing to contribute in a positive manner to all aspects of the academy and college. This is a tremendous opportunity for an exceptional practitioner to join the academy and to further develop their career.
