Job Description:
We are looking to appoint part-time Exam Invigilators to join our team and support the smooth running of examinations at Global Academy UTC Trust. As an invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring that exam regulations are followed and that students are provided with a fair and secure testing environment.
The position is required for key exam periods in November, early December, March, May, and June 2025. Hours and days will vary depending on the examination schedule, with some early morning and late afternoon sessions required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising students during exams to ensure compliance with exam regulations.
- Preparing the exam hall and other rooms as per exam requirements.
- Distributing and collecting exam papers and other authorised materials.
- Monitoring student behaviour and maintaining a calm and quiet environment.
- Assisting with candidate entry, checking IDs, and managing any late arrivals.
- Supporting students who may be unwell or require additional assistance.
- Ensuring the correct exam papers and equipment are provided.
- Recording attendance and completing the necessary documentation.
- Reporting any incidents or breaches of regulations to the Exams Officer.
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail and vigilance.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Training:
Full training will be provided for this role. No prior experience is necessary, but a commitment to maintaining a fair and supportive exam environment is essential.
