Job overview

Working as part of a friendly team in supporting the Examinations Officer with the day to day running of examinations.

We are looking for people who can relate positively to all students, have good verbal communication skills and are vigilant and meticulous.

The position is offered on a casual basis to work according to need during public examinations between April and June and internal examinations which are generally over the months of November to March.

Hours are flexible, but we prefer our invigilators to be able to commit to a whole morning or afternoon each day. The exam day starts at 8.30am and ends at 4.30pm. Invigilators are sent examination dates and asked to identify their availability to enable planning for both you and use.

Salary £11.44 per hour plus annual leave payment of £1.60 per hour (this increases to £1.83 per hour after five years' service).
