Part time at examination periods only • Hours of work 8am-5pm during examination periods – November, January and April-July.

The Examinations Invigilator plays a pivotal role in St Mary’s examinations process by supporting the pupils, following the guidelines and maintaining the integrity of the examinations process. The individual will ensure that the examinations are conducted in a fair and secure environment, adhering to the external examination guidelines and the school’s policies. The Examinations Invigilator will be required to invigilate both internal and public exams.

St Mary's School Ascot is a leading Roman Catholic girls' boarding school set in 55 acres of beautiful grounds in the heart of Berkshire. We are a friendly, stable and caring community, proud of our academic and sporting achievements and dedicated to bringing out the full potential of each of our 390 pupils. There are 120 pupils in the sixth form. We are committed to full boarding, with spaces for a few day pupils living nearby. We offer a stimulating range of co-curricular activities which take place in the evenings and throughout the weekend.

St Mary’s has a strong reputation as an academic school within the Catholic tradition. Entry to the school is selective. All pupils are expected to take 9 or 10 GCSEs, and almost all stay on for the Sixth Form to pursue their A Levels. Our leavers invariably go on to higher education, the vast majority to Russell Group universities or similar, including 10-15% to Oxbridge.
