About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Family Liaison Officer to become part of our pastoral team at Carleton High School. The candidates will work to increase pupil attendance across the schools. We are looking for someone to work closely with our students and their families, to engage and support them to ensure they succeed in their education.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for
- Increasing pupil attendance across the school through leading and management of attendance strategies
- Engaging with parents and families via home visits or on-site visits to explore and offer support to improve student attendance
- Liaise with staff, parents, colleagues across the Trust, other education institutions and multi-agency partners to support pupil’s progress and overall development
- To plan and lead community engagement events
- Develop processes and procedures to improve the attendance systems
This post is a 37 hours per week, term time plus two days, permanent contract, equating to 192 working days per annum.
