22.5 hours a week. 10am – 3pm (hours can be flexible for the right candidate)
Salary: £12,221.59 (FTE £24227.00)

We currently have a vacancy for a Food and Textiles Technician. This is an enjoyable opportunity to join a friendly and busy department, suitable for a person with an interest or previous experience in food and/or textiles. The job involves preparing, setting out and clearing away resources and equipment, maintaining hygienic and stimulating learning environments and organising stock replenishment. Working with students in small groups or individually will also, at times, be required.
We have recently enhanced our classroom kitchens and textiles workshops with new layouts and new equipment to improve teaching and working areas.
Being organised, forward thinking and able to work independently is essential to the role It would be beneficial (but not essential) to have knowledge of Food preparation and Textiles. Training will be available for the successful candidate.
