Henry Cavendish is an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ school (2024) and we pride ourselves on developing a child's love of learning within a nurturing, inclusive environment. To help enrich children’s school experience, we are looking to recruit an imaginative, enthusiastic and creative Forest School teacher to deliver educational, engaging and memorable outdoor learning sessions for our children in Year 1 and Year 2.

If you have a genuine passion for Forest Schools education, experience of delivering sessions in an educational environment and have a Level 3 Forest Schools leaders qualification or would like to work towards it, then we would love to hear from you!

We are a highly respected and extremely popular school located on two sites in the London Borough of Lambeth; ideally located with excellent public transport links and can easily be reached.

Henry Cavendish is strongly committed to inclusion and is an equal opportunities employer. We aim to create a welcoming, respectful and safe environment for all members of our community. We know that more diverse teams, are stronger teams, and that the more inclusive we are, the more our staff and pupils will feel a sense of belonging and will thrive. We are committed to attracting and retaining the very best staff, ensuring that our staff body reflects the diversity of our pupils and local community. Acknowledging a lack of ethnic diversity within our staff teaching community, we particularly encourage applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic candidates for this role.

· Is positive, reflective and able to inspire pupils

· A love of the outdoors and a desire to help children develop the same
