Wellington College International Tianjin is the first international partner school of the highly prestigious Wellington College in Berkshire, England. The school is a vibrant and popular co-educational school offering a top-class British education for pupils aged 2-18 years. The strength and breadth of the partnership with Wellington College in England are almost unique among British schools.
Besides the royal foundation and shared heritage, Wellington College International Tianjin has teachers with extensive Wellington College UK experience, enjoys pupil and staff exchanges, collaboration between subjects and classes, as well as embedding vital elements of the core values (respect, integrity, courage, responsibility and kindness), shared Wellington identity and commitment to a wellbeing programme. These shared parts of our DNA mean that pupils in Wellington grow into hard-working, resilient young men and women capable of leading full and active roles in their lives and communities. They understand the meaning of service to others and lead their lives rooted in the shared values that helped to shape their childhoods. As even a casual observer at any of our annual year 13 graduation ceremonies can see, the pupils that emerge from the school at 18 years of age are prepared to face the wider world with quiet self-confidence, disarming humility and a steely determination to forge their place in the world.
Our Class of 2024 graduates have had an exceptional year, with 32% of graduates receiving offers from G5 super-elite universities. Nearly 40% secured places at universities ranked within the top 20 by QS World Rankings, with 50% reaching the top 50. Pupils are holding offers from The University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, London School of Economics and Political Science, University College London, King’s College London, The University of Edinburgh, The University of Manchester, and the University of the Arts London (QS arts rankings #1 in the world), The Bartlett School of Architecture, Seoul National University (Medicine major), University of California Los Angeles, New York University, University of Toronto, The University of Sydney and The University of New South Wales.
