Dauntsey's School wishes to appoint outstanding, enthusiastic and committed university graduates who are looking to develop their experience and knowledge or who might be considering a teaching career or take a year out.
Applicants will coach sport OR teach dance and coach sport at all levels in the school. Applicants wishing to be considered for a sports position should be able to coach two or more of the following sports: Rugby, Netball, Hockey, Cricket, Tennis and Athletics. Applicants wishing to be considered for a Dance/Sport position should be able to teach two or more of the following styles of Dance: Contemporary, Street, Commercial, Musical Theatre, Jazz, and Ballet as well as offering the ability to coach two of the following sports: Rugby, Netball, Hockey, Cricket, Tennis and Athletics.
Accommodation will be provided as part of the Resident Tutor role.
This position is designed to allow graduates who might be considering a teaching career to experience life in a boarding school as fully as possible. Previous GATs have gone on to positions in education both at Dauntsey’s and at other schools.
